3 Watt Dynamo Searchlight
This flashlight uses a 3-phase brushless generator for efficient electricity
generation to charge the internal 3.6 Volt/1200mAh Ni-Mh battery.
The power stored inside its internal Ni-MH battery is used to power the
powerful 3 Watt LED. A push switch is used to control the on/off function.
Product functions:
• Rechargeable by winding and mains or 12 Volt chargers (included)
• To be used as a search light

USER MANUAL:
Charging:
A. By 220/240 Volt AC-Charger
• Connect the adapter into the charging port at the backside of the Lion
• Plug the AC-Charger into a mains socket.
• The red charging indicator will illuminate when charging
■ The charging Indicator will turn greon when fully charged
Disconnect the AC-Charger when fully charged
• Charge time 4-5 hours
B. By 12 Volt Car Cigarette Charger
• Connect the adapter into the charging port at the backside of the Lion
• Plug the Car Cigarette Charger in the Car power outlet
• The red charging indicator will illuminate when charging
• The charging indicator will turn green when fully charged
• Disconnect the Car Cigarette Cn#rg«r when fully charged
• Charge time 2-3 hours
C. Dynamo
• Take out the handle of the dynamo at the backside of the Lion
■ Rotate the handle clockwise
• Wind at a speed of 3 revolutions per second to charge.
■ The red charging indicator will illuminate during charging
Lighting:
Press the switch button once to light up the 3 Watt Led. To turn the Lion
off press again.
Note
• Always wind the handle consistently. Winding too «lowly may reduce
the current and prolong charging time required
■ Do not place the device in very high temperatures or very humid
environments
• Wind the product a least once per month to prolong the life of the
Internal battery
Do not recharge (he Lion when the light is on
• Always recharge the Lion after use or when the light is dimming
Do not charge for longer than 12 hours by AC or DC.
- The Lion is not intended for use by young Of infirm persons without
Supervision
Use in dry locations only. Do not allow the unit to become wet
Do not immerse in water
■ Use only with Powerplus adapters that are provided with this unit
■ Always plug in me charging adapter first, than plug into the mains.
Do not shine directly in to eyes under any circumstances

Batteries
Never attempt to open for any reason.
• Do not charge damaged batteries
• Do not oxpose the battery to wator.
Do not expose the battery to heat.
• Do not store in locations where the temperature may exceed 40"C.
Charge only at ambient températures between 4*C and 40*C.
Charge only using the chargers provided with the product.
When disposing of batteries, follow the instructions given in the section
'Instruction battery removal'
Chargers
■ Your charger has been designed for a specific voltage.
Always check that the mains voltago corresponds to the voltage on the
rating plate.
• Warning! Never attempt to replace the charger unit with a regular mains
plug.
■ use your PowerPlus charger only to charge the battery in the product
with which it was suppliod Other batterios could burst, causing personal
injury and damage.
• Have defective cords replaced immediately.
Do not exposo the chargnr to water.
• Do not open the charger.
• Do not probo the charger.
• The Lion must bo placed in a well ventilated aroa when charging
All batteries lose charge with time, especially when they are warm.
Rocharge the unit every month for 12 hours when not In frequent use.
- If the unit is not going to be used for extended periods, store in a cool,
dry place
The following symbols are found on your charger
Your charger is double insulated; therefore no earth
wire is required.
Read this entire instruction manual carefully.
The charger automatically shuts off if the ambient
temperature becomes too high. As a consequonce the
charger will be inoperable. The charging base must be
disconnected from the mains supply and taken to an
authorised service centre for repair.
This product must not be disposed of with normal
household waste.

Remove screws on both sidtsa of the
rcw pari of the product
Remove both screws of the battery
compartment and take out the batterios
Disconnect the battery pack.
Deliver the battery to a battery
collection point for recycling.
