  • Page 2 The files and instructions necessary to get a Luna PED from version 2.4.0-3 to version 2.5.0-3, before you begin the upgrade from 2.5.0-3 to 2.6.0-6 (in this present instruction), are available in the firmware folder in the root of the LunaClient installation media, or can be downloaded from the SafeNet Support portal. Files Included in this Upgrade Package The update package includes the following files.
  • Page 3 2. Connect power to the Luna PED (using the SafeNet-supplied power block to connector in the illustration) and connect the USB cable between the Luna PED (connector A) and your Windows PC. 3. Allow the PED to boot normally until it reaches the default “Local PED mode Awaiting command…”.
