When the machine is E-stopped or stopped due to a product jam, the valve controlling the set-up arm cylinder immediately shifts to exhaust the air from both sides of the cylinder.     CE35-T Case Erector Operations Manual The set-up arm cylinder has a sensor which triggers the set-up arm alarm. The set-up arm alarm is a time-based fault alarm. If the sensor is not flagged within a certain amount of time during operation the program will register a fault alarm and shut down the machine.

    Note: If the machine arrives with change parts, unpack the box carefully and identify all parts. Notify Pearson's Service Department at 800-732-7766 if parts are missing. Unpacking and Moving the Machine After inspecting the machine, use a fork lift or electric pallet jacks to slide the skidded machine to the work location.

Important: If using a chain hoist or forklift, check that the chain or forks bear against machine mainframe only.     Operations Manual CE35-T Case Erector Pre-Run Preparation Remove the protective coating applied prior to machine shipping. Use a clean rag to remove this coating from shafts and other bare metal parts. Check for any loose bolts, nuts or fastenings. Tighten as necessary.

    CE35-T Case Erector Operations Manual HMI Display Screens Alarm Description The alarm description screen lists all the alarms on the machine. If there is an alarm present on the machine, you cannot scroll through this list; the cause of the active alarm must be cleared before continuing.

    CE35-T Case Erector Operations Manual Glossary Air Prep Unit: The air prep unit consists of a Lock out Valve, integral Filter Regulator, Soft Start Valve and an Exhaust Valve. The unit is used to filter and regulate the incoming compressed air to the rest of the system. The Soft Start Valve will slowly build the air pressure during startup.
