Near both the top and bottom ends of the bookcase sides
you will notice a series of holes bored front to back. Insert
wooden dowel pins in the larger holes. Screw connector
bolts into the smaller holes. Do not overtighten the bolts.
Once they are flush stop.
Lay the LEFT bookcase side on a flat surface and install
the top shelf. Line up the holes on the end of the shelf with
the cam bolts on the bookcase side and press downward.
Make certain the groove on the top shelf matches up with
the groove on the bookcase side.
Insert the cam washers into the holes with
the cam bolts. The arrow on the washer
points towards the bookcase side at about
the 6 o'clock position. To tighten, turn
clockwise to abou the 11-2 o'clock posi-
tion.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the bottom shelf.
