CLEANING THE BURNER TUBE The burner tube is fitted with mesh covers to assist in preventing insects and debris entering the tube. Insects and debris can still cause a blockage in the burner tube. This can be a serious problem potentially preventing gas flow and can even cause a fire at the gas control valve.
