EOS-500 in order to ensure optimal performance. The signal from the EOS-500 is a standard NMEA 0183 signal and can directly be transmitted to any device accepting the NMEA 0183 protocol. The EOS-500 only provides relative wind speed and direction.
2.1 Required Tools For ease of installation, the EOS-500 is partially pre-assembled. Some minor assembly is required. The included mounting hardware makes the installation easy and quick. The tools required for the installation: Regular (-) screw driver Wrench (12mm or 1/2”) 2.2.

The pole for the Wind vane / anemometer should be about 2” (5 cm) in diameter. Ensure that the pole you select for the unit is strong enough to withstand high winds and will not cause any bending or vibration.
