Software - Network Connect the BC Software to the Network Database The BC-2 Body Camera software has the ability to work online and with multiple computers and across multiple locations. This allows officers to archive their BC-2 Body Cameras from different computers. It also allows the admin to review the content stored in the central database over the network. This is accomplished via Windows file sharing – a built-in framework for sharing files across a local network. FIG. 8 Step 1: Setup File Sharing Before You Start The first step to getting your BC software working over your network is to ensure that there is a file share on the computer which you intend to host your database. If you already have a file share available, please skip to the “Move the Database Location” section of the manual. If you do not have a file share setup, please skip to the operating system section which matches the computer which you intend to host your database. Windows XP 1. Open “My Computer”.
