Explanation of the Symbols
Danger symbol: This symbol in-
dicates dangers of injury. Read
through the associated safety no-
tices carefully and follow them.

Intended Use
•
This product is intended to be used for
gently removing tiny hairs on the face
and gentle peeling (removing dead
fl akes of skin).
•
Designed for personal use only, not for
commercial applications. The product
should only be used as described in the
operating instructions. Any other use is
deemed to be improper.
SAFETY NOTICES

Keep the product and the packaging
material away from children and ani-
mals.

Children must not play with the prod-
uct!

Danger of burns from battery acid!
Batteries can be deadly if swallowed.
The battery and product should be kept
out of the reach of children and ani-
mals. If a battery is swallowed, immedi-
ate medical attention must be sought.

Danger of burns from battery acid!
If the battery leaks, avoid physical con-
tact with the battery acid. Wear protec-
tive gloves if necessary. If you touch
battery acid, rinse the aff ected areas
with abundant clear water straight away
and seek medical assistance immedi-
ately.

Danger of dazzling! Keep the prod-
uct away from your eyes! Do not look
directly into the light, your eyes could
be damaged.
■
Danger of injury! Do not exert too
much pressure with the product!
■
Do not use the product:
– if you have open wounds, skin infec-
tions, infl ammations, eczema, psoria-
sis or rosacea;
– if you have sensitive skin, any skin ir-
ritation, swelling, rash, burns, sunburn
or warts;
– on skin to which cream, oil or other
fl ammable or alcoholic products have
just been applied.

If you are unsure about whether an ap-
plication is suitable for your skin, con-
sult a doctor if necessary.

Test the product fi rst on your arm or leg.
If any skin irritations occur, stop using it!

No liquid must be allowed to en-
ter the product. Do not immerse in
water! Never use while bathing or
showering!

Remove a dead battery from the prod-
uct immediately.
■
Use only the battery type specifi ed in
the technical data.
■
Take the battery out of the product
when it is dead or if you will not be us-
ing the product for a prolonged period.
This will prevent any damage caused
by leaks.

Protect the product from heat, naked
fl ames, direct sunlight, extreme tem-
peratures and impacts.
■
Do not use any caustic or abrasive
cleaning agents to clean the product.

A 1.5 V battery, AAA is required for
use. It is not supplied with the prod-
uct.

Inserting / Changing the Battery
Before inserting the battery, check whether
the contacts in the product and on the bat-
tery are clean, and clean them if neces-
sary.
1. Make sure that the product is switched
off .
2. Turn the battery compartment cover
clockwise and take it off .
3. Place a 1.5 V battery, AAA into the bat-
tery compartment. Ensure the correct
polarity (+ / –)!
4. Place the battery compartment cover
back on and twist it anticlockwise until
it engages.
Replace the battery when the power starts
to wane.
Use
•
Switching the light on / off – Press
the On / Off switch for the light.
•
Shaving / peeling – Hold the blade at
a 45° angle to the skin on your face and
guide it slowly over the skin. Use your
free hand to smooth down the skin to
obtain the cleanest possible result.
•
Replacing blades – Release the inser-
ted blade by pushing the blade release
button up. Place the product at an ang-
le on a new blade in the cartridge and
press it down. It must audible click into
place.
Cleaning
1. Make sure that the product has been
switched off and the battery removed.
2. Use a cleaning brush (not supplied with
the product) to remove hair and fl akes
of skin from the blade.
3. If necessary, wipe down the product
with a damp cloth.
