    Display Current Working Mode • Count Mode: Count the number of people and objects pass by the thermometer (1-9999). • Body Mode: Measure body temperature (default). • Surface Mode: Measure the surface temperature of an object.     Alerts Standby: the backlight is turned off and the temperature remains displayed. Insufficient Power: the icon flashes and displays that the battery is empty.
  • Page 9 (Alerts cont.) Normal Temperature: flashing green LEDs on both sides. Abnormal Temperature: flashing red LEDs on both sides and backlight turns red.
  • Page 10 (Alerts cont.) Lo (in Body Mode): temperature is out of range and lower than 95° F and backlight turns red. Hi (in Body Mode): temperature is out of range and higher than 107.6° F and backlight turns red.

    Temperature Measurement: Stand 1.97” - 11.8” in front of the temperature sensor. Historical Temperature Query: Press the left and right buttons to query the historical temperature, M represents the current historical temperature. The SV-IR-TEMP currently supports up to 99 historical temperatures.

    Settings Temperature Display Units Press the SET button once to F1. Press the left and right buttons to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F). Note: Default is Fahrenheit. Modes Press the SET button until F2 appears.
