    • The cylinder must also be suitably restrained against seismic activity according the requirements found in G12/AS1. • A suitable duty, functioning drip tray MUST be fitted to guard against unexpected failure and subsequent water damage. Waterware will not accept any consequential loss resulting from water damage if this requirement is not satisfied.

    Maintenance The following aspects should be checked regularly to ensure that the optimum performance levels of the valve are maintained. Every 12 months, or more often if necessary; • Check and clean the system filters. • Verify that any check valves positioned upstream of the Caleffi valve are operating correctly, without problems caused by impurities.

    Valve Orientation and Installation The pressure reducing valve can be installed in any orientation but should not be under water or dirt due to the risk of frost damage and dirt accumulating inside the diagram cap. The valve should be located so that the entire pipe system is operating under a controlled pressure with the possible exception of hose taps.
