Use & Care
Before first use, thoroughly hand wash your cookware with hot soapy water, rinse and towel dry.
This pan is dishwasher safe.
Use:
Excellent for breakfast, lunch or dinner cooking. Recommended cooking temperature of 375°F/190°C.
• Pancakes
• Burgers
• Tortillas
• Grilled sandwiches
• Fried eggs
• Quesadillas
• Hash browns
• Pork chops
• Sausages
• Steaks
• Bacon
• Sheet pan dinners in oven
Cooking Tips:
• Ideal for ALL cooktops, especially magnetic induction. Best used with Sync burners or Bridge burners. Center the griddle over the double
burners for even heating. Also, can be used in the oven for baking.
• To prevent sticking on stainless steel cooking surface use a small amount of cooking oil or butter to a heating pan and spread it around
evenly with a paper towel. Heat on medium temperature, not high temperature.
• Sticking may also be caused by high heat. When fats or oils smoke, the heat is too high, so turn it down.
• Only low or medium heat is needed to cook most food properly. Cooking on high can burn the food and cause damage to your pan.
• Never leave griddle unsupervised while cooking.
• It is okay to use your metal utensils on the stainless steel surface, but do not use knives or electric beaters.
Care and Cleaning:
Note: Everyday use may result in minor scratching; this will not interfere with cooking performance.
• Clean griddle thoroughly after each use. Wiping a still-warm pan with a paper towel can help remove food residue and grease. Food
films cause sticking and discoloration on the pan. For hard to clean spots on a pan that has not yet cooled, pour a little warm water over
the heavy residue and let the water simmer to loosen the buildup. Use a folded-up paper towel and with your spatula apply pressure to
paper towel and wipe the surface of the pan clean.
• Use Non-scratch pads, sponges and nylon bristle brushes for most cleanups along with a dishwashing liquid. Do not use steel wool,
scouring pads, oven cleaners, bleach, or strong grit-abrasive cleaners. These can scratch or discolor the surface of the pan.
• To remove cooking oil stains use a Stainless Steel/Aluminum cleaner, such as Chantal's SCSL-762 cleaner.
• For the occasional dried-on or burnt food, sprinkle with baking soda and allow oils to absorb and then simmer with water for 10 minutes
before scrubbing.
Important Safeguards:
• When using your griddle on the stovetop or in the oven,
wear oven mitts to remove pan as the handles can become hot.
• Extreme temperature changes can cause damage to your pan. Do not immerse hot pan into cold water as it can cause warping.
• When removing griddle from heat source place it on heat-resistant trivets.
• Do not allow corner of griddle to cover cooktop surface touch controls.
