  • Page 3 This equipment has been designed to meet the requirements of BS 812-124:2009 You will need to have a copy of this standard to refer to. 1. UNPACKING Remove all packing material and place on a flat floor. It is important that the unit is level. Use the self-levelling feet with an accurate spirit level instrument.
  • Page 4 2. MAINS SUPPLY 240-volt units. Each unit comes supplied with a mains connection lead already fitted with a correctly rated fuse. The fuse rating and other details for each unit is shown on the voltage plate riveted to the back of the unit. It is important that, if the fuse needs to be replaced, it must only be replaced with one of the correct rating.

  • Page 7 3.15 To change defrost time Defrost time is the time in between each test that the unit requires to perform a defrost. We recommend 3 hours in between each 96 hour test.   • Page 8 3.17 Process data (5 air temperatures and 5 water temperatures) are constantly monitored during the test on the recorder. The data views on the screen be changed by pressing the screen and the lower blocks Mode, Menu & Group come on. Press up and down on the Mode to change views from test to graph to all view.
