Moving the switch to the On (1) position will provide automatic power to the pressure switch which will allow the motor to start when the air tank pressure is below the factory set cut-in pressure.

PREPARATION INITIAL SET-UP: Read safety warnings before setting-up air compressor. LOCATION: CAUTION In order to avoid damaging the air compressor, do not incline the air compressor transversely or longitudinally more than 10°. 1. Place air compressor at least 30cm away from obstacles that may prevent proper ventilation. Do not place air compressor in an area: -where there is evidence of oil or gas leaks. -

OPERATION PRE-START CHECKLIST: 1. Remove any moisture in the air compressor air tank. Remove excessive pressure with an air tool, then open the air tank drain valve in the bottom of the air tank. Close tightly when drained. WARNING: Risk of bodily injury. NEVER attempt to open the drain valve when more than 0.7 bar of air pressure is in the air tank! 2. -

TROUBLESHOOTING Symptom 1. Motor will not run or restart. Plug cord into grounded outlet. Power cord not plugged in. Move switch to “ON” (1) position. Motor/Pressure switch in “OFF” (0) position. Motor thermal overload switch has Turn air compressor off, wait until motor is cool, then check motor circuit breaker. - Page 13 TROUBLESHOOTING Symptom 4. Air continues to leak at motor/pressure switch release valve while motor is running. REMEDY PROBABLE CAUSE Replace. Defective motor/pressure switch. Symptom 5. Air leaks from safety relief valve. REMEDY PROBABLE CAUSE Operate safety relief valve manually by pulling on ring. Possible defective safety relief valve.
- Page 14 TROUBLESHOOTING Symptom 10. Air compressor not making enough air. REMEDY PROBABLE CAUSE Clean. Restricted air intake filter. Drain air tank and measure pump up time. Compare to Defective (reed) valve. specifications. If lower, remove pump head and inspect valve plate, clean or replace. Symptom 11.

VORBEREITUNG EINRICHTEN FÜR DIE ERSTMALIGE INBETRIEBNAHME: 1. Lesen Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise, bevor Sie mit dem Einrichten des Luftkompressors beginnen. AUFSTELLORT: ACHTUNG Um Beschädigungen am Luftkompressor zu vermeiden, darf er in Längs- oder Querrichtung nicht um mehr als 10° gekippt werden. 1. -

BETRIEB CHECKLISTE FÜR VORBEREITUNG AUF DIE INBETRIEBNAHME: 1. Lassen Sie ggf. vorhandene Feuchtigkeit vollständig aus dem Druckluftbehälter des Luftkompressors ab. Lassen Sie dazu den überschüssigen Druck über ein Druckluftwerkzeug ab und öffnen Sie anschließend das Ablassventil an der Unterseite des Druckluftbehälters. Schließen Sie das Ventil nach dem Ablassvorgang wieder dicht zu. -

STÖRUNGSBESEITIGUNG Symptom 1: Motor läuft nicht oder startet nicht neu. Netzstecker ist nicht eingesteckt.. Netzstecker in eine geerdete Netzsteckdose stecken. Motor-/Druckschalter ist in Position AUS (0). Schalter in Position EIN (1) legen. Thermoschalter des Motors wurde ausgelöst. Luftkompressor einschalten, warten, bis sich der Motor abgekühlt hat und dann Motorleistungsschalter prüfen Sicherung ist durchgebrannt, oder Sicherung auswechseln oder Leistungsschalter nullstellen. - Page 28 STÖRUNGSBESEITIGUNG Symptom 4: Aus dem Ablassventil am Motor-/Druckschalter entweicht weiter Luft, wenn der Motor läuft. MÖGLICHE URSACHE STÖRUNGSBESEITIGUNGSMASSNAHME Defekter Motor-/Druckschalter. Auswechseln. Symptom 5: Aus dem Sicherheitsüberdruckventil entweicht Luft. MÖGLICHE URSACHE STÖRUNGSBESEITIGUNGSMASSNAHME Möglicherweise defektes Sicherheitsüberdruckventil. Sicherheitsüberdruckventil manuell durch Ziehen des Rings betätigen.Wenn es immer noch leckt, muss es ausgewechselt werden.
