TO REMOVE THE COVER
Place the pan on a flat surface with the handle pointed towards the right.
Open the upper cover completely. The cover will stop when it's open at 90º to the
lower base pan.
Gently slide the cover towards you. This action will disconnect the cover from the
lower base.
TO ASSEMBLE THE COVER
Place the pan on a flat surface with the handle pointed towards the right.
With the cover at 90º to the base pan, align the round hinge pins with the receiving
holes on the base pan. Then, gently slide the cover into place.
Note: the lead hinge pan and receiving hole fit like a lock and key. Always ensure the
pin and hole are aligned before inserting.
Make sure the hinge pins are inserted completely and gently close the cover.
Strawberry Cream Cheese Pancakes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Servings: 6
Ingredients
2 large eggs
1 ½ cup milk
2 cups unbleached, all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
~ 1 lb fresh sliced strawberries (or frozen and thawed)
6 ounces of cream cheese, softened
Directions
1.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
2.
In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Add the
cream cheese in, breaking into pieces. Using an electric mixer, gently
blend in the cream cheese. It is good that small chunks of cheese will
remain unblended.
3.
Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and gently stir until just combined.
4.
Using a small amount of oil or butter, preheat the flip pan on one side over
medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Repeat the same for the other side.
5.
Open the pan and spoon about ¼ cup of the batter into the pan (and
repeat per pancake), still using medium heat.
6.
Close the pan for about 2 minutes and then open to check on the
pancakes. Once the edges are dry and there are bubbles on top of the
pancake, you may close the pan and flip it so the pancake cooks on the
other side for 1-2 more minutes. Please note: you may have to adjust the
cooking times slightly depending on your stovetop.
7.
Serve warm topped with your strawberries. You may add butter, syrup,
whipped cream, or any other toppings you desire.
