    Care and Maintenance Like every technical product, the rollator requires regular inspection. Check the unit frequently for signs of damage, breakage, cracks, fatigue, lost parts and/or non functioning parts. Check all nuts and bolts are present and secured. The locking pin must be inserted correctly and only be removed by pressing the end button.

    The tools required (not supplied-see tools list later) should only be used by competent persons / qualified professionals, for adjustment only, not for removal of items such as the hinged clamp parts.  The Product is intended for use with the correct Kingkraft specified accessories only.

    Option 2: Straight Handles These are intended to be fitted as shown to the main frame at a comfortable height. They can be fitted anywhere along the straight part of the frame. They can be rotated inwards / outwards before tightening the bolts to adust to the width for the user.

    User Instructions / Operation The product is to be used as a walking aid for children up to the weight limit of 35Kg. The rollator is designed for use with smaller children. The suitability of the rollator for a particular child is to be determined by individual risk assessment for each child by the therapist.
  • Page 9 To secure the rollator frame whilst in transit, please follow these steps to secure the main and rear parts together to stop the possibility of trapping or pinching. Hold the tubes together in one hand and insert the pin through the two holes in the rear hinge / clamp part.

    Rear Wheels The rear wheels are fixed and uni-directional and will not allow the rollator to roll backwards: Movement in this direction (forward) only Rollator Orientation The rollator will only move in a forward direction, or turn left or right when in motion.

  • Page 13 General Information The Kingkraft Rollator (Children’s Walker) is for indoor use only, on smooth or carpeted surfaces, in the home and elsewhere. The rollator is shaped to allow maximum stability and room for the user to walk inside the frame.

    Rear Wheels: All nuts must be tight and not moving or loose: Handle / Accessory Fittings: All bolts securely tightened on any fitted handles / accessory parts. Cleaning: The rollator should be cleaned as required. Wipe down with a warm mild soapy detergent / solution, wipe off to dry.

Advice is available from Kingkraft Ltd.  The Kingkraft Rollator (Children’s Walker) is intended as a walking aid for young children only of a suitable size.
  • Page 16 Option 3: Curved Handles These are curved so the ends of the handles blend to the frame. They are intended to be fitted to the main frame at a comfortable height. They can be fitted anywhere along the straight part of the frame. These handles must be fitted as shown and not in any other orientation.
  • Page 17 Foot operation of the brakes: The castor brake is operated using the black lever at the back of the castor: Brake Lever To ‘lock’ the castors, press the rear lever downwards. To ‘release’ the castors, raise the lever. Warning: The brakes only operate correctly on even surfaces.

    Handle Options A variety of handle options are available to order Option 1: ‘Doughnut’ Frame Hand Stops These are intended to be used if the main frame is at a comfortable height and width for the user and they want to grip / lean into the rollator, instead of using any additional handles.

    The rear wheels prevent the rollator from rolling backwards, unless the rear wheels are lifted off the floor. Do not tip or lift the rollator wheels off the floor at any time when in use. Locking Pin and Folding The rollator can be folded for ease of transportation. The main and rear tubes are connected with a hinged clamp component.
