MACHINE GENERAL DESCRIPTION ‒ The semi-automatic manually adjustable taper is a machine designed and built to close products contained in carton boxes of various formats with adhesive tape. ‒ Use machine only for the purposes set forth by the manufacturer. improper use of machine can cause risks to safety and health of persons, further to economical damage.
ROBOTAPE 50 ME - LH 3.2. DESCRIPTION OF THE OPERATION CYCLE Place box (A) at the inlet of machine (B), between the conveyor belts. After start-up, the machine automatically seals the top and the bottom of the box. The operator picks up the box exiting the machine.

Lift the machine (See 4.3. “transport and handling”). If the machine is equipped with swivel wheels (F), screw them onto the feet. If necessary, identify the exact position and trace the co-ordinates to correctly place the machine.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ADJUSTMENTS ‒ Before performing any operation, the authorised operator must make sure that he/she understood the "Instructions for use". ‒ Pay attention to the SAFETY WARNINGS, do not use the machine for UNSPECIFIED PURPOSES and assess the possible RESIDUAL RISKS.
ROBOTAPE 50 ME - LH 5.3. ADJUST THE TRANSPORT UNIT DRIVING CHAIN Proceed as indicated. Deactivate the main electric switch to put the machine in safety conditions. Loosen the screw (E). Operate the chain tensioner roller (F) to set the tension of the chain. tighten screw (E).

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OPERATION AND USE ‒ Before performing any operation, the operator must make sure that he/she understood the "Instructions for use". ‒ When using the machine for the first time, the operator must read the manual and identify the controls and simulate some operations, especially the start-up and shutdown.
ROBOTAPE 50 ME - LH 6.4. EMERGENCY STOP AND RESTART Press the machine emergency stop button when there is imminent danger. Its functions are immediately stopped. To restart the machine, act as follows. Turn the main cut-off switch (A) to 0 (OFF) to switch off electrical power.

Install rolls (X) as shown in the figure according to the width of box (C) in relation to the width of taping unit support (N). Important If the box is too narrow with respect to taping unit (N), capsize the side press rolls as shown in the figure.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REPLACING PARTS ‒ Carry out the interventions with all the safety devices enabled and wear the DPI provided. ‒ DO NOT carry out any intervention that is not described in the manual but contact an Assistance Service authorised by the manufacturer.

HOW TO REPLACE THE TRANSPORT UNIT DRIVING CHAIN Proceed as indicated. Deactivate the main electrical knife to stop the machine under safe conditions. Loosen the screw (Q) and lift the roller (R) to completely loosen the chain (S).
