Infrared – Moxa Device M 3 Instructions for use Infrared Moxa Device M 3: Principle The infrard radiation produced in the M3 goes through the skin and heats deeper parts of tissue without burning of the skin surface (if used properly!! See Safety Instructions!). The infrared source is a halogen lamp at lower voltage with intensive infrared part of radiation. -

Only in this way the M 3 has the electrical safety for patient and user in accordance to the standard EN60601. -

So it is possible in any case to have a good view to the position where the beam goes into the skin (Infrared beam with a visible component). -

M 3 and mains adaptor can be cleaned carefully with a piece of clothe which is wetted with alcohol or disinfectant. -
