Using an Astronomic Timeclock
with the RadioRA
Overview
Timeclock features can be added to the RadioRA system by using the RadioRA Switch Closure Interface
(RA-SCI) and an external timeclock to automatically control lights in a home. There are times when astronomic
functions are desired so that timed events track with changes in sunrise and sunset times. This can be
accomplished by using the external timeclock (Lutron Model No. RA-DZS-200A/24), as shown below.
The system can be further customized so that timeclock functions are combined with astronomic functions,
(e.g. the lights are programmed to turn on with the sunset and turn off at 2:00 a.m.).
