Ullman Hyper Glide 1600
Instruction Manual Q1 2020
Thank you for purchasing one of our hydrofoils. We hope that you will enjoy
the thrill of flight above water. Please read this instruction manual to
familiarise yourself with the hydrofoil, its use, and safety aspects.

Safety First:

• Hydrofoiling is a water sport and, as such, poses some risks. We
recommend that you wear a suitable helmet, an impact vest
with adequate floatation for your body weight, and a full-length
wetsuit at all times when hydrofoiling.
• Ensure that the water depth is more than enough for the foil length you
are using. An 80cm mast foil requires at least 1.5m of water depth.
• Any collision (that is, with an object or person) is extremely dangerous
as you are likely to hit the obstacle or the
bottom below you head-first. A collision
may also damage the foil and this is not
covered by the warranty.
Never foil on your own.
• Stay well clear of other water users.
• Always use a suitable leash to tether
your board to yourself.

Assembly:

Please be careful not to cross-thread or overtighten screws. Always insert
screws by hand and ensure you can turn them by hand before using the
Allen key tools to tighten them further.
• The hydrofoil consist of various parts that need to be assembled correctly.
See Image 2 to familiarise yourself with the components and names.
• Start by sliding the fuselage into the front (blunt side) of the mast with
the 6mm screw holes facing away from the mast. Slide the fuselage until
the large holes on the side of the mast line up with large hole of the
fuselage. Insert the mating screw set and fasten with the 5mm Allen key.
