Instructions for Field Service Upgrade
on AltairDLX / DRT 4200 (units with
lights only) Direct-Vent Gas Fireplaces

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn off the unit, let it cool at room temperature, remove the barrier
and remove glass door.
2. From inside unit, remove the four (4) inner screws at location shown
in Figure 1, if present (screws may not be installed).
3. Remove three (3) front fastening screws (see Figure 2).
4. Lift the rear of the baffle to clear the screws from which it hangs, and
pull forward (see Figure 3).
