Vent is turning on but not sucking smoke out

The Winflo 631T vent may be turning on but not removing smoke due to one or more of the following reasons:

1. Improper Venting: The fan must be ducted to the outside. If it's vented into attics, crawl spaces, garages, or within walls and ceilings, it will not exhaust smoke properly.

2. Blocked Chimney Holes: If the chimney holes are blocked, air cannot flow out, preventing smoke removal.

3. Non-Vented (Recirculating) Mode: If used in recirculating mode, it must have a carbon filter installed at the motor. Without it, smoke and vapors are not filtered correctly.

4. Obstructed Duct System: If the vent system is blocked or the damper is not functioning properly, airflow will be restricted.

5. Improper Installation: Incorrect vent system length or configuration can reduce performance. The system must be installed according to specifications, using proper vent pieces and calculating total length.

Check these factors to identify and resolve the issue.
