Please take the time to read these instructions carefully as they contain useful and important information.
  • Page 4 Begin by removing the active bass box from the vehicle and disconnecting the cables. Ensure that the fuses are removed from the feed wires before removing them from their respective terminals.
  • Page 5 Remove the failed amplifier module from the bass box by removal of the mounting screws...
  • Page 6 around the perimeter. Withdraw the module from the bass box and cut the speaker feed cable close to the amplifier board. Locate terminals SP(-)1 and SP(+)1 on the replacement amplifier (one terminal is in the centre of the amplifier near the power supply and the other is near the edge of the circuit board).
  • Page 7 Either fit female crimp terminals to the wires on the bass box or strip back and solder directly to the circuit board. The RED cable is the positive and should be connected to the + terminal. Take particular care if you choose to solder not to overheat the board. If you are unsure about doing this we recommend the use of the simple crimp terminals.
