    Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) Function Anynet+ is a function that can be used to operate the main unit using a Samsung TV remote control, by connecting the Home Theater to a SAMSUNG TV using an HDMI Cable. (This is only available with SAMSUNG TV's that support Anynet+.)

    COPY PrOTECTION Many DVD discs are encoded with copy protection. Because of this, you should only connect your DVD player directly to your TV, not to a VCR. Connecting to a VCR results in a distorted picture from copy-protected DVD discs.

    If the disc is not closed, it will take longer to begin playback and not all of the recorded files may be played. For files encoded in Variable Bit Rate (VBR) format, i.e. files encoded in both low bit rate and high bit rate (e.g., 32Kbps ~ 320Kbps), the sound may skip during playback.

    The DVD Home Theater's remote can be used to control Samsung TVs. Plug the main unit's power cord into the AC power supply. Press the DVD rECEIVEr button to operate the DVD Home Theater. Press the FUNCTION button on the main unit or DVD button on the remote to enable DVD/CD playback.

(The system supports only the FAT fi le system and will not play a movie larger than 1 GB in USB mode.) Some MP3 players, when connected to this product, may not operate depending on the sector size of their fi le system.

    For your convenience, you can set this DVD Home Theater's features for the best use in your home environment. SETTING THE LANGUAGE OSD(On-Screen Display) language is set to English by default. In Stop mode, press the MENU button.

    Adjusting the TV Aspect ratio (Screen Size) The horizontal to vertical screen size ratio of conventional TVs is 4:3, while that of widescreen and high definition TVs is 16:9. This ratio is called the aspect ratio. When playing DVDs recorded in different screen sizes, you should adjust the aspect ratio to fit your TV or monitor.

    SETTING THE WALLPAPEr While watching a DVD or JPEG CD, you can set the image you like as background wallpaper. During playback, press the PAUSE button when an image you like appears. Press the LOGO button. COPY LOGO DATA will be displayed on the TV screen.

    The sound gets louder as you move closer to +6dB and quieter as you get closer to -6dB. SETTING THE DrC (DYNAMIC rANGE COMPrESSION) This feature balances the range between the loudest and quietest sounds. You can use this function to enjoy Dolby Digital sound when watching movies at low volume at night.

    SETTING THE AV SYNC Video may look slower than the audio if it is connected to a digital TV. If this occurs, adjust the audio delay time to match the video. In Stop mode, press the MENU button.

    Press P.BASS button and "POWER BASS ON" will be displayed on the screen. The P.bass does not work with DSP/EQ or DOLBY PRO LOGIC ll modes. If you press P.BASS in the DSP/EQ mode, the DSP/EQ mode is automatically shut off and the P. BASS function comes on.

    Press the MO/ST button to listen in Mono/Stereo. • Each time the button is pressed, the sound switches between STErEO and MONO. • In a poor reception area, select MONO for a clear, interference-free broadcast.
