- Page 5 HPP2 HPP2 pump with electro-hydraulic piloting and swashplate supporting rollers cages – cross sectional view Pump Startup Take care of cleaning all machine parts that will contact hydraulic circuit fluid (tank, lines, heat exchangers, filters, etc.). Be sure that nothing will obstruct normal pump suction (close faucets on suction duct, slack connections that could cause air inlet into lines, etc.).
- Page 6 HPP2 !!! IMPORTANT !!! Do not run the pump and the hydraulic motor before filling them as specified in the previous paragraph. Components can be seriously damaged! Check that the pump is set to zero displacement. Run the pump at minimum rpm (e.g. run diesel engine using only starter) until the boost pump begins to work regularly.
