    Einleitung Herzlichen Glückwunsch ! Sie haben ein hochwertiges Produkt aus dem Hause HDS music – den HDS Pro.Sound.1 – und die fantastische Möglichkeit all Ihre musikalischen Vorstellungen zu verwirklichen, erworben. Bitte lesen Sie diese Anleitung sorgfältig durch, um so alle Eigenschaften perfekt nutzen zu können.

  • Page 8: Verbindung Mit Einem Pc Über Midi

    Ein- schalten1 Verbindung zu einem PC Der HDS Pro.Sound.1 kann auf verschiedene Art mit einem PC verbunden werden: MIDI Schnittstelle oder USB (Universal Serial Bus).In beiden Fällen wird der Datenaustasch als Standard MIDI Specifi cation gesendet oder empfangen. Auf Ihrem PC muss ein Programm zur Wiedergabe von Standard MIDI Files installiert sein.

    Der Global Mode (GM2) Sobald im Display "GM2" erscheint, ist der HDS Pro.Sound.1 spielbereit. Die Grundeinstellung des HDS Pro.Sound.1 ist der GM2 Mode. Somit ist das Modul in der Lage, MIDI Daten auf 16 MIDI Kanälen zu empfangen (General MIDI 2 standard).

    HDS Pro.Sound.1 Bedienungsanleitung Anwählen der PARTS (CH) im GM2 MODE Anwählen der PARTS (CH) im GM2 MODE Hier können Sie die 16 verschiedene Kanäle/Parts (Standard MIDI channel) an/auswählen. Durch wiederholtes Drücken der DATA Taste wird der aktuelle PART (CH) zum Verändern angezeigt Haben Sie alle 16 Parts durchgeschaltet, erscheint ALL im Display.

    HDS Pro.Sound.1 Bedienungsanleitung Ändern der Anschlagdynamik : VELOCITY Ändern der Anschlagdynamik : VELOCITY Ändern der Anschlagsstärke für den angewählten PART(CH): VELOCITY Der Velocity Parameter ist im GM Mode nicht einstellbar. Diese Funktion ist nur im Performance MODE aktiv. ( ALL Mode).

    VELOCITY terkeyboard oder MidiController gesendet werden. TRANSPOSE einstellen der GLOBAL Transpose für das HDS Pro.Sound.1 +/- 12 Halbtöne. Der maximale Transpose Wert ist: +/- 36 Halbtöne (+/- 24 Halbtöne im einzelnen PART, plus +/- 12 semitone im ALL mode). TUNE ändert die GLOBAL Stimmung des HDS Pro.Sound.1, von A = 427 to A= 452 Hz.

    Um einen MIDI Program Change (Klangwechsel) Befehl zu senden, lesen Sie bitte die Anleitung Ihres MIDI - Gerätes (z.B. Midi Akkordeon). Damit der HDS Pro.Sound.1 auch Befehle erhalten kann, müssen die MIDI-Kanäle aufeinander abgestimmt sein (z.B. MIDI ch. # 15) MIDI OUT...

    Um eine PERFORMANCE zu erstellen, muss eine PERF angewählt sein. Drücken Sie die PERF Taste und wählen eine der 99 Performances aus. Drücken Sie die EDIT Taste. Nun leuchtet die PART (CH) LED am HDS Pro.Sound.1 und zeigt welcher Kanal angewählt ist. Wird ein WERT geändert, so blinkt die PERF LED und Sie wissen dass Sie eine PERF.

    Die PERF-Taste und P01 ( in diesem Beispiel) blinken zum abspeichern. Jetzt nur die EDIT Taste drücken und der HDS Pro.Sound.1 bricht den Speichvorgang ab. Sie können nun wieder eine neue PERFORMANCE Ä auswählen oder mit der nderung neu beginnen.

    Alle Einstellungen werden automatisch abgespeichert und bleiben auch nach EIN/Ausschalten gespeichert. COMMON CHANNEL EINSTELLUNGEN Der MIDI COMMON Kanal ist sehr wichtig, damit MIDI Befehle richtig empfangen werden. Im HDS Pro.Sound.1 ist der COMMON channel auf MIDI ch#15 eingestellt. Da ihr Modul mit 16 Kanälen arbeitet,(Split, Layer-Sounds) muss der Common Kanal richtig eingestellt sein damit alle Befehle vom Akkordeon oder Masterkeyboard emp- fangen werden und somit Ihre Performances umschaltet, und auch alle Klänge richtig wieder gibt.

    MIDI DATA BULK DUMP (DATENÜBETRAGUNG) Diese Funktion überträgt die PERFORMANCE Daten an einen PC oder Midirekorder um ein Archiv zu er- stellen. Um die Daten zu Übertragen verbinden Sie bitte den HDS Pro.Sound.1 (Midi out) mit dem MIDI in Ihres Rekorders oder Pc.

  • Page 32 CONNECT TO A PC The HDS Pro.Sound.1 expander can be connected to a PC in two different ways: using the MIDI or the USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface. Using the MIDI the PC has to be equipped with a proper MIDI interface (see the note below), in case of USB it’s possible to use directly the PC USB built-in connection.

To edit this parameter please consult the NOTE #2 on next page.
  • Page 38 THE MODE "ALL" IN EDIT MENU As already described in the previuos page, the ALL mode is a way offer by the HDS Pro.Sound.1 system to speed up the editing operation for some parameters. In fact setting the ALL mode in PART (CH) edit and selecting one of the edit parameters (*), the value you insert affects all the parts at the same time.
  • Page 39 THE PERFORMANCE MODE The PERFORMANCE (PERF) mode is a very important HDS Pro.Sound.1 operating level for live performance. This mode allows you to program and recall up to 99 different set ups of the instrument in real time; a very useful function controlling the HDS Pro.Sound.1 from a MIDI master control (keyboard, accordion, guitar etc.).
  • Page 40 The parameter set directly available from the panel of the HDS Pro.Sound.1 module, both in GM2 or PERF mode is a reduced set than available in the instrument, (this is due to the simplifi ed navigation system used in the module). The best way to fully edit the HDS Pro.Sound.1 performance is to use the PC EDITOR software included in the package.

Enter the MEMORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM mode keep- ing pressed al least for 2 seconds the PERF and the EDIT buttons at the same time. As already seen the fi rst menu is the MIDI COMMON channel setting.
