TROUBLESHOOTING
If you are having problems with this unit, refer to these troubleshooting hints. Also, refer to the connection
diagram to ensure your devices are connected properly.
Problem
I have no lights and no function at all.
The device I am using rarely or never turns
OFF.
The device I am using rarely or never turns
ON.
PRECAUTIONS
1) DO NOT expose the HUM-1 to water. The plastic enclosure is corrosion-proof, it is not water-proof.
2) DO connect the HUM-1 to a source of dedicated 15-amp / 120 vac power.
WARRANTY
The HUM-1 is warranted against defects in workmanship for THREE years.

Check fuse or main power. Check the main power plug and replace the fuse if
required with the correct rated fuse.
If the fuse blows repeatedly, verify the devices connected to the unit are working
properly and that they are not too large for the HUM-1 to safely control.
In order for the HUM-1 to turn ON and OFF the device, it must be capable of
raising or lowering the level to the set-point you have selected. If your set-point is
either too high or too low, the unit will be commanded to remain on. If you cannot
achieve the humidity level you would like, you may have to choose a device with a
higher capacity.
Once you select the humidity level you want to maintain, the unit will automatically
keep it at that level. If the unit is not turning the unit ON, it is indicating the humidity
is within the acceptable range of +/- 7% rH.
