Lower instrument panel knee bolsters are provided to absorb energy during frontal
collisions and are designed to limit leg movement to decrease the chance of injury to
the driver and front passenger.
Airbag inflation can cause severe injury or death to anyone too close to
the bag when it deploys. Be sure every occupant is properly restrained.
