Once the motion sensor is activated, the device begins to emit a group of sound signals at
frequencies that depend on the selected setting of the frequency dial (rotary button on the front
side of the device). The animals are disturbed by the ever changing sounds and ultrasounds and
are forced to leave the affected area.
SON C
Thanks to the combination of ultrasound and flashing light, the success rate is particularly high
and peace and quiet can soon be enjoyed again.
The VOSS.sonic 2800 is an all-round device, suitable for the use against dogs, cats, foxes,
martens, badgers, deer and raccoons.
(From now on, the VOSS.sonic 2800 will drive away all unwanted and annoying animals for you.)

Inserting the batteries:

The VOSS.sonic 2800 can be operated with four 1.5V alkaline mono cells or with a mains
adapter. As soon as you have connected the device to a power source and trigger the motion
sensor, a red light appears in the top half of the panel.
In case you have inserted batteries but decide to use a mains adapter instead, simply plug the
power adapter into the device. The contact to the batteries is disconnected then. If you want
to switch back to batteries, remove the power adapter. The contact to the batteries will be
released this way again.
Ensure that the frequency dial on the front is set to zero. Turn the switch to
position "OFF" for this.
Slide open the cover of the battery compartment on the back of the device and place the
batteries inside it. Put the cover back in place by first aligning the arrows on both sides of the
cover with the arrows on the housing and then sliding it shut. The service life of the batteries
depends on the number of triggered operations.
Quality batteries allow for approx. 5000 operations.
Please note that the flash requires particularly much electricity and cannot be triggered if the
voltage drops below 3.6 V.
Once the voltage falls below 3.4 V, the ultrasonic sounds also stop being emitted correctly. The
batteries are too weak and need replacing.
Low charge can be noticed by a decrease in the light intensity of the signal light and, sometimes,
a croaking noise.
