Changing the play mode

You can select the play mode by pressing the REPEAT button repeatedly.
Each press changes the mode icon as follows:
None (Normal play)
(Repeat)
1 (Single Repeat)
(Folder Repeat)
SHUF (Shuffle)
SHUF (Shuffle Repeat)
A t B (A-B Repeat)
Note
• "A-B Repeat" is displayed only when sound is played back.

Mode Operation
Normal
Playback stops automatically after the last
audio fi le is played.
Repeat All audio fi les are played back repeatedly.
Single The current audio fi le is played back
Repeat repeatedly.
Folder
All audio fi les in the selected folder are
Repeat
played repeatedly.
Shuffl e All audio fi les are played back in random
order.
Shuffl e All audio fi les are played back in random
Repeat order repeatedly.
A-B The selected section is played back
Repeat

Playing a specifi ed section repeatedly
(A-B Repeat)
While playing an audio fi le, you can set the start point (A) and end point (B) for a section
you wish to play repeatedly.
1 Press the REPEAT button while playing an audio fi le.
2 Select the A-B Repeat mode from the play mode.
"A " is displayed and blinks.
Press  button to set the start point (A) while playing back.

"B" blinks.
Press the  button to set the end point (B).

"A  B" is displayed and the specifi ed section is played back repeatedly.
Notes
• You cannot set A-B Repeat for a section that overlaps two or more audio fi les.
• If you do not set the end point (B), it is automatically set to the end of the audio fi le.
