  • Page 19: Anticondensation Pump

5.3 ANTICONDENSATION PUMP In order to avoid system damages caused by unburnt gas condensation, it is necessary to insert a circulating pump between the flow and the return. The anti-condensation output can be calculated as follows: − 1° method = boiler / 45 = l/h −...
  • Page 20: Reduced Output Running

6.3 REDUCED OUTPUT RUNNING The reduced output running of MK and PRK boilers can be successfully used during autumn and spring and when the system runs partially. To obtain it extract all the metal spiral coils from ducts. This operation results in an increasing in smoke temperature so that it is necessary to reduce the burner capacity of about 30%.
  • Page 21: Boiler Water

6.7 BOILER WATER The boiler water quality is a basic element for its safety and good running. A bad water quality can damage both the boiler and the system. It can result in exchange surface incrustations and corrosions. A water treatment and a steady water control can avoid these consequences. It is advisable to ask for a specialized water treatment and control.
  • Page 22: Maintenance

    7. MAINTENANCE 7.1 EVERYDAY MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS Maintenance operations must be carried out at least once a year in accordance with local regulations. Maintenance operations must be carried out by lawful personnel, their name has to be written on the "System book".
  • Page 23: Door Tightness Control

7.3 DOOR TIGHTNESS CONTROL In case there are door leakages, it is better to tighten the door screwing system after having loosened all lock nuts. If the problem remains, verify the elasticity of the ceramic fibre insulation and, if necessary, replace it. 7.4 BOILER SCALING To extend boiler life and not to cause steel sheet overheating, a periodic scaling is necessary.
