Handling of rechargeable battery Selection of the battery There are two different specifications of the “AAA battery" and "Lithium ion batteries". Please select either when ordering, unable to change the specifications by user. III Maintenance and After-Sales Service III-1 Storage and Maintenance Pay attention to the following points when storing the memory unit. ● Turn OFF the switch when storing. ● Do not store the memory unit at a location subject to high temperature or high humidity. III-2 Temperature calibration and periodical inspection To ensure correct measurement, it is necessary that each function of this equipment works normally, and the original high performance is maintained. - Page 24 When the clock is incorrect, connect the memory unit to a PC, check [Time adjustment] in [Unit Settings] in TMR-1 software and press [OK] button, and adjust the internal clock of the memory unit to the date and time displayed on TMR-1 software. IV-2 Supplementary items Measurement error of reflow checker We are carrying rigorous inspections on the reflow checkers at the time of factory shipment. However, due to the reasons as listed below, temperature recording may become unsatisfactory. In such a case, take the corrective measures as explained, for obtaining more reproducible measurement. - Page 28 Measurement error of reflow checker ③ Temperature drop due to heat absorption by memory unit When the memory unit of reflow checker passes through the reflow oven, a temperature drop occurs sometimes in the furnace. The memory unit moves at a position several tens of centimeters in the rear side of the board to be measured.

Measurement error of reflow checker ④ Usage frequency of board to be measured If a board on which no part is mounted, not of a production board, is used for measurement purpose, the measured temperature may become different from the actual temperature. If a board prepared for measurement is passed through the reflow oven repeatedly, the measured temperature may become higher than the production board because of drying out and discoloration (blackening) which affect thermal capacity of the board. -
