  • Page 2 Installation The it-Receive is compatible with PC and Mac. •    E nsure your computer is on.  •  Plug the it-Receive into a spare USB socket. •    Y our  computer  will  recognise  the  it-Receive  and  install  the  driver software it needs.  •    T he computer will load several different drivers, so may take  up to one minute to do this. •  You will be informed when the process is complete.   • Page 3 Before  they  can  communicate  with  each  other  they  must  be  paired by following this procedure:  1. Ensure the it-Receive is connected to your computer. 2.   P lace  the  transmitter  to  be  paired  close  to  the  it-Receive  (within 1 metre). 3.   P ress  and  release  the  PAIR  button  on  the  front  of  the  it- Receive. The red light next to it will begin flashing.
  • Page 4 Further information If you pair a seventh transmitter with the it-Receive, the device  used least recently will be replaced.  To erase all the pairing information from the it-Receive press and  hold the PAIR button for about 3 seconds. Paired devices will operate up to 10 metres (32 feet) apart. The other two lights on the front of the it-Receive indicate when  Drag Lock (e.g. on an it-Roll) is being used and when Caps Lock  is selected on the computer keyboard.

Warranty Your  Simply  Works  device  is  warranted  against  defects  in  manufacture  or  component  failure.  The  unit  is  designed  for  domestic and educational applications. Use outside these areas  will invalidate the warranty. Unauthorised repair or modification,  mechanical  abuse,  immersion  in  any  liquid  or  connection  to  incompatible equipment will also invalidate the warranty.
