Changing the bristles on on my leeboy Roscoe broom the the broom bristles are larger than the old ones and they're dragging the drum causing the motor to stall on the hydraulic motor install that turns the brushes does that sound right

Your ROSCO Broom consists of a variable displacement Sauer/Danfoss 40 Series pump and motor which provide drive power for the ROSCO Broom. A gear-type hydraulic pump is directly connected to the Sauer/Danfoss pump, and provides operational pressure for the power steering, brush lift, brush swing and brush drive.

RB48 BROOM MAINTENANCE Hydraulic System Checks Before each day's use, inspect the ROSCO Broom for possibile hydraulic leaks. A weekly check should be performed to make sure that all hose fittings are secure and tight. DANGER: Never use your hand to locate hydraulic leaks.

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE The ROSCO Broom's electrical system is protected from overload damage by fuses. Should an electrical component fail to operate, check the fuse panel first to make sure that a fuse is not blown. The fuse panel is located in the front of the instrument panel directly in front of the operator's seat.

Changing the bristles on on my leeboy Roscoe broom the the broom bristles are larger than the old ones and they're dragging the drum causing the motor to stall on the hydraulic motor install that turns the brushes does that sound right
