This 3D scanner product type is MD7000. MD7000 3D scanner is an end-to-end solution that enables device to perceive the world in 3D sense. There are totally 3 sensors in 3D scanner, the right one is IR light projector, the left one is depth camera and the middle one is RGB camera.

3. INSTALL DRIVE AND APPLICATION SOFTWARE Please install all the related software at default C disc. 3.1 Update Graphics Drive (Optional) Update graphics driver to the latest version. 4. OPERATE APPLICATION SOFTWARE Note: all the screenshots are from less application software version , a slightly different software will show in higher version, screenshots can be referenced. 4.1 The First Start After the success of installation according to above steps, and make sure the scanning instrument is connected to the computer, double click the desktop shortcut to start the scanning instrument applications.

Examine whether the state is prepared or not. The main interface is paged out after a few seconds, if the top right-hand corner of the main interface presents, which means the scanning instrument is already prepared. See below diagram. If OpenNI 2 Sensor presents green means scanning instrument is ready, if it presents red, please close the software, try to change the scanning instrument and computer USB interface.
If selecting GPU in the option of Recording Feedback indicates open GPU acceleration, it will make the scanning accuracy higher and run smoother. It is recommended to always open this option; The “Low” in the function of Feedback Quality means the speed of collection is fast , but Low precision.

NOTE, 1. Please always keep the best scanning distance between scanning instrument and human body (reference data is about 0.5 m).Changing the distance time to time will lead to accuracy to be reduced. 2. It is suggested to control the rotation time in 20-30 seconds, and to make sure the portrait in the software presents a large area in the scanning process.

Please pay attention during body scan, the initial point is at the point of the box by default. Therefore in the whole body scan, it is better to scan from the waist to head, then to feet, or you may scan from waist to feet, and then move to head. Above all, the whole portrait will be packed in the box.

Highly precise face scan, see below setting, 18 / 23 ...
The more accurate scanning, the more requirements when scanning slow and steady. Therefore, we should make sure to close the face as far as possible, smooth and slowly operation when highly precise face scan. Please don’t back and forth scan several times, try to operate once or twice.
Click on the "on", and then click "Run", the system will start to color in model automatically. If the model is just scan face, open the state of the Face Mode. It is the way to promote facial scan color accuracy. In this interface, application software also provides other processing functions of 3D model.

Choose the format of"STL", and the click on "EXPORT", see below diagram, Define English or digital file name, specify path (suggest save in the desktop, easy to find the export file), and then click on "save". Waiting for the progress bar of the application software to be finished, the model is completely exported.

If users need to export the color model, please choose the format of "OBJ" and "Texture UV", or the format of "PLY" and "Per vertex”, the other options are default settings, and then export the model, specify the file name and path. See below diagram: 22 / 23 ...
5. FAQ Why does application software complain about a missing OpenCL.dll? OpenCL.dll provides the language application software uses to communicate with the graphics card. OpenCL.dll is usually being installed by display driver. Older display drivers, however, do not support OpenCL.dll. Therefore, please update display driver and note that the graphics card needs to support OpenCL (which most decent graphics cards do) to run application software.
