mation completely. Please keep these instructions in a safe
place for future reference. If you sell the device, please pass
these operating instructions on to the new owner.
1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes
Risk of electric shock
This symbol indicates product parts energized with a
dangerous voltage of sufficient magnitude to constitute a
risk of electric shock.
Warning
This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to draw
your attention to specific hazards and risks.
Note
This symbol is used to indicate additional information or
important notes.

4. Safety Notes
Warning
• This product was designed specifically for persons with
impaired hearing. Therefore, it is capable of producing
unusually high volumes.
• Before using this product, persons with normal hearing
should turn the volume of the playback device down to
the lowest level!
• This device transmits signals at a frequency of 2,400 MHz.
Since this product may interfere with the operation of
pacemakers, persons with pacemakers should consult a
doctor before purchasing this product.
• High sound pressure level!
• There is a risk of hearing damage.
• To prevent hearing loss, avoid listening at high volume
levels for long periods.
• Using this product limits your perception of ambient noise.
For this reason, do not operate any vehicles or machines
while using this product.
• Always keep the volume at a reasonable
level. Loud volumes, even over short
periods, can cause hearing loss.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating, and
only use it in a dry environment.
• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters
or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Use the item only in moderate climatic conditions.
• Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of the reach
of children!
• Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in
the specifications.
• Do not use the product in moist environments and avoid splashes.
• Do not place any containers filled with liquid, such as vases,
on top of the product or in its immediate vicinity. The con-
tainer may tip over and the liquid spilled may compromise
electrical safety.
• Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children
due to the risk of suffocation.
• The battery is integrated and cannot be removed.
• Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to
enter the environment. They can contain toxic, environmen-
tally unfriendly heavy metals.
• Do not tamper with or damage/heat/disassemble the batter-
ies/rechargeable batteries.
• Do not throw the battery or the product into fire.
• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
• Use the product for its intended purpose only.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the device.
