•A- Planned Preventive Maintenance Program i s extremely important i f you are to receive efficient opera-
tion and.long service l i f e from your Onan unit. Neglecting routine maintenance can result in premature
failure or permanent damage to your equipment. The Onan Operator's Manual sent with the product con-
tains recommended maintenance schedules and procedures. .- . i >
Maintenance is divided into two categories:
1. Operator Maintenance performed by the operator.
2. Critical Maintenance . performed only by qualified service personnel.
Regular maintenance w i l l help you avoid sudden and costly repairs in the future. Adequate evidence of
this scheduled maintenance must be offered when applying for a warranty claim.

INSTALLATION
Installation is extremely important and-all Onan Products should be installed in accordance with the
manufacturer's recommendations. If the owner experiences any d i f f i c u l t y with such items as mounting,
ventilation, exhaust location, f u e l lines, wiring, etc., he should immediately contact the company from
whom he purchased the equipment so that corrective action can be taken. Although the Onan Authorized
Distributor and his Approved or Registered Service Dealers may be able to remedy certain installation
d i f f i c u l t i e s , such repair work is not considered Onan warranty and there w i l l be a charge for this service.
