Remedial measure
Determine the cause, re-align parts
Check the ventilation passages
Take rotor off, re-balance it
Take rotor off, co-ordinate further measures with the
manufacturer
Align motor & driven machine, check the coupling
Re-balance coupled machine
Check the coupled machine
Check and repair the gear
Stiffen the foundation after consultation
Determine the cause, eliminate it and re-align the machine
Remove excess grease
Regrease bearing with suitable grease
Replace V-type rotary seal or gamma ring, maintain the
prescribed installation clearance
Lubricate according to instructions
Replace bearing
Use bearing with larger bearing clearance
Use bearing with smaller bearing clearance
Replace bearing
Replace bearing
Change the bearing according to manufacturer's instructions
