Super Bright LED Camping Lantern
Instructions
This lantern uses 20 high brightness white LED's to
provide high light output and long life.
Battery Installation
4 x D size batteries are required.
For longer lamp running time and extended battery
life Arlec recommends Alkaline batteries.
For long term economy Arlec rechargeable NiCad
batteries can be used in these lanterns. Do not
mix battery types.
1. Ensure that the lantern is switched off.
2. Turn lantern upside down and twist base grip
in an anticlockwise direction as indicated with
OPEN-CLOSE markings. Fig 01.

3. Remove base to reveal battery holder. Load 4
'D' size batteries in the holder noting correct
positive (+) and negative (-) polarity as shown
inside battery compartment .
4. Align battery holder base in lantern body
ensuring that the base is aligned properly.
The tabs on the lid should align with the
recess on either side of the batteries. Fig 01.
To Operate
Rotate the switch knob in the top of the unit to
desired position-
= unit switched ON;
= unit switched OFF.
