Send and view messages
Learn to send and view text (SMS) and multimedia
(MMS) messages.
Send a text or multimedia message
1. In Menu mode, select Messages → Create new
message.
2. Select Tap to add recipient → Enter manually.
3. Enter a destination number and select
4. Select Tap to add text.
5. Enter your message text and select
Enter text
For sending as a text message, skip to step 7.
For attaching multimedia, continue with step 6.
6. Select Options → Add multimedia → an item
type and add an item.
7. Select Options → Send to send the message.

Enter text
With your phone's touch screen, you can enter text
and create messages or notes.
Change the text input method
When you open the text input field, the virtual keypad
appears.
• To switch between T9 and ABC mode, select
→ Predictive text on or Predictive text off.
.
• To switch to Symbol mode, select
symbol.
→ Done.
You can use the following text input modes:
Mode

Function
Select an appropriate virtual key until the
character you want appears on the display.
Press and hold an appropriate virtual key to
enter a number.
