  • Page 2 THE SAMSUNG SGH-E710 QUICK START GUIDE In just a few minutes this Quick Start Guide will show you how to use many of the main features of your new SGH-E710. We'll show you how easy it is to take pictures and video clips with its built-in camera, send photos in MMS messages, and connect to Vodafone live! and the mobile internet.

    1. USING THE HANDSET Your SGH-E710 has many new features and services, but using them is simple thanks to the intuitive menu system, context-sensitive 'soft' keys and the 5-way central navigation joystick. Keys & Navigation Volume keys Left Soft key: Selects whatever command or icon is in the bottom left of the screen (usually Select).

    2. THE CAMERA With the built-in zoom camera you can now capture images and even video clips (see section 8 for video). Photos can also be sent to other people as part of an MMS (Picture Messaging) message. Take and send a photo: 1.
  • Page 5 3. MMS (PICTURE MESSAGING) Life is more than just text. With MMS (Picture Messaging) you can now send pictures and sounds as well! It works much like an email message, with picture and sound attachments. Your handset is already enabled to send and receive MMS, but if you have any problems call your local Vodafone customer services.
