Menu functions
Changing an Advanced shortcut key
1. Press [Down] and select a key to be used as a
shortcut key.
2. Select a menu to be assigned to the key.
Using Advanced shortcut options
Press <Options> to access the following options:
•
Change: assign or change a shortcut menu.
•
Remove: deactivate the shortcut assignment to
the selected key.
•
Remove all: deactivate all shortcut assignments.
Volume key
(Menu 9.2.6)
Use this menu to change the volume key settings.
•
Volume key function: set whether the phone
mutes the call ringer or rejects a call if you press
and hold [Volume] when a call comes in. You can
also set whether the phone sends an SMS message
to the caller when a call is rejected.
•
Text message: enter a message to be sent to the
caller when a call is rejected.

USB settings
(Menu 9.2.7)
Use this menu to select a USB mode to be used when
you connect your phone to a PC or printer via USB.
•
Modem: select to use your phone as a modem.
•
Pictbridge: select to connect your phone to a
PictBridge-compatible printer.
Extra settings
(Menu 9.2.8)
You can turn the automatic redialling or answering
features on or off.
•
Auto redial: set the phone to make up to ten
attempts to redial a phone number after an
unsuccessful call.
•
Anykey answer: answer an incoming call by
pressing any key, except for <Reject> and [
•
Voice clarity: remove extraneous noise and
increase call quality so that the person with whom
you are speaking can hear you clearly even if you
are in a noisy place.
•
Active flip: answer an incoming call by opening
the phone.
