Initial Set Up Attaching a Lanyard or Lapel Clip The SoloProtect ID Pro can be worn on a lanyard or lapel clip by attaching to the rip-plug in the device (the rip plug itself is supplied with the device). The rip-plug location will facilitate wear in either Portrait or Landscape orientation. Your employer has pre-determined the orientation of your device at specification stage.

We recommend leaving the device on charge for a minimum of 2-3 hours the first time you charge it, and that it is only charged using the SoloProtect supplied charger.

Incapacitation Alarm and contact our ARC. When an Incapacitation Alarm is started, your SoloProtect ID Pro gives three short bursts of vibration to confirm the state; and then opens a voice call to the designated number and enables the microphone, so that an ARC Operator can listen to and/or record the situation.
Location The SoloProtect ID Pro comes equipped with multiple means by which a device user can be located should they require assistance. Each time a user initiates a Device Check, or Alert, all of this information is shared with the ARC. This means that even if one or more of these services is out of coverage, we’re still able to confirm a device user’s location with relative accuracy should they need assistance.

SoloProtect ID Pro has sight of Bluetooth Beacons, and can be configured to be aligned with an existing network, or as part of a new network of beacons supplied through SoloProtect. In the event of a ‘Red Alert’ an Alarm Receiving Centre operator can utilise the nearest beacon in order to inform the best possible response for the lone worker.
Risk Messaging The SoloProtect ID Pro comes equipped with our Risk Messaging function which allows the Account Administrator(s) within your organisation to send messages to the device for any given number of reasons, but particularly where there is a potential risk to the device user’s safety.
