Quick Reference Guide
Programing and Changing the Pass Code
1. Open the door of the Key Safe. Do not turn the Handle/Door Knob
2. Remove the battery compartment cover located on the back of the
door. Insert the 4 AA batteries
3. Press the button located on the inside door button. The yellow LED
light will be ON and a short 'beep' will sound.
4.Input the user code (from 3-8 digits), followed by pressing the 'E'
button to confirm. The user code is now set
To change the user code follow steps 3 and 4
To Open the Key Safe
1. Enter your user Code, followed by pressing 'E' The green LED light will
turn ON. Turn the handle /door knob within 5 seconds and pull out to
open the Key Safe.
Read and Save These Instructions
Note: When inputting the user Code, the yellow light will flash along
with a short 'beep' sound to confirm that the button has been
pressed. If the yellow light continues to flash with the beep, this
will indicate that the user code entered is incorrect. If you entered
the incorrect user code, press 'C' to cancel
For security purposes, inputting the incorrect user code three times will
result in the Key Safe to auto lock for 20 seconds. During this time, you
cannot attempt to input the user code to open the Key Safe.
For additional security purposes, entering the incorrect user code an
additional 3 times will result in the Key Safe to auto lock for 5 minutes.
During this time, you cannot attempt to input the user code to open the
Key Safe.
To Close the Key Safe
Close the key Safe door and turn the handle /door knob counter clockwise.
The Master Lock Key
The key lock is located beside the knob. Remove the cover, insert the
master key and turn counter clockwise. The master lock key can be
used in the event of low/dead batteries, or should you have forgotten
your pass code
Replacing Batteries
The batteries need to be changed If the red LED light is on with the
Green LED light when entering your user code. After changing the
batteries, please test your user code first before closing the Key Safe
door
Installation
The Key Safe can be secured to a floor, wall or cupboard. Use the
mounting hardware to secure the Key Safe.
Warning
Do not keep the master lock keys inside. Each master lock is uniquely
different. Royal Sovereign cannot be held responsible for lost master
keys
Warranty
Royal Sovereign warrants this product to be free from defects in material
and workmanship. Our obligation under this warranty is limited to the
repair or replacement, free of charge, when delivered to an authorized
Royal Sovereign service center, of any defective part(s) thereof, other
than parts damaged in transit. This warranty is in effect to the original
purchaser, for a period of one year from the date of purchase and is
not transferable. This warranty shall apply only if the product is used in
accordance with the factory provide instructions which accompany it.
Exclusions
This warranty excludes and does not cover defects, malfunctions or
failures of this product, caused by repairs by unauthorized persons or
service centers, mishandling , improper installation, modification or
unreasonable use including incorrect voltage, acts of God, or failure to
provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. This warranty is in lieu
of any and all expressed warranties. In no event shall Royal Sovereign
be liable for consequential or incidental damages. This limitation would
not apply if you live in a location that does not permit the exclusion of
limitation of incidental or consequential damages.
