Instructions for use

The Chafer beetle trap should be used to catch
male and female adult garden chafer beetles
(Phyllopertha horticola). The attractant will
attract beetles from up to 100m from the trap.
1. Pull the top and bottom of green funnel to extend.
2. Place the clear cone in the top of the funnel.
3. Insert the two yellow plates together along the
pre-cut groves to form a "X".
4. Clip each of the four raised corners of the
yellow 'X' into the holes around the rim of the
green trap.
5. Wearing gloves, remove the lid from the bottle
of attractant (note bottle will not be full). Insert
the top of the bottle through the ring. Replace
original lid with filter lid and tighten to secure in
the ring.
6. The trap can be either fastened to a supporting
pole at ground level or 0.5-1.5 m above the
ground. The trap should be checked twice a
week.
 STORAGE
Trap and attractant should be stored in cool dry location out of direct sunlight.
Liquid Attractant should be used within 18 months of purchase.
