SETUP GUIDE 
 
POWERING ON THE MODULE 
 
Plug the 16pin ribbon cable into the shrouded header pins on the back of the Lightstorm Module 
 
 
While the case is powered down, plug the other end of the ribbon cable into a 16pin power 
output connector on the power supply of the case. Make sure that the ribbon cable is oriented so 
that the red strip is on the side of the connector that supplies -12v. On many cases the -12v side 
of the connector is labeled with a stripe. Screw the module into the case and power on the case. 
At this point you should see the light on the module begin to blink. 
 
 
SETUP THE LEDS 
 
There is a 3pin LED output on the front and back of the module for plugging in LEDs. Plug the 
female end of the LED extension cable into one of the LED outputs. Both outputs work the same 
so it doesn't matter which one you use. Make sure that the extension cable is oriented so that 
the red wire is on the side of the connector that's marked with a stripe.
