OPERATION

START
As soon as the detector is correctly installed the button will blink
RED, first every 10 seconds, then every 5 to 6 minutes.
TEST
You should test your smoke alarm every week and after a long
absence. Push for 1 second on the TEST button. The button
should blink and the smoke alarm should beep briefly. Release
the TEST button and the smoke alarm will be in "hush" mode
for 9 minutes.
HUSH MODE
Your smoke alarm has a "Hush" function. In case of a duly
verified false alarm, you can stop the alarm sound by pushing
1 second on the TEST button. The detector will be less sensitive
for 9 minutes and the TEST button will blink every 10 seconds to
show it is in "hush" mode.
Important
!
If the smoke alarm is in "hush" mode and the smoke density
increases (for example in case a fire starts), the alarm will
sound again.
