Installation: 2011 - 2015 Dodge Charger
First remove the nose assembly from the vehicle to access the
front of the vehicle properly for this installation (refer to factory
instructions). Also, remove the plastic cover covering the top
front of the engine area which surrounds the hood latch.
2015 MODELS: In 2015 models the plastic cover is part of the
nose assembly and does not have to be removed separately. You
will have to trim some of the cover before remounting it (See 2015
Charger photo).
1. Remove the 2 bolts that secure the hood latch assembly and set the
assembly aside (do not disconnect the cables). Unplug the horn
wire and place the wire out of the way.

IMPORTANT: For drainage purposes, the speaker must be oriented so the
wire passage hole is in the "6 o'clock" position (closest to the road).
This also serves as the drain hole for the siren. Improper mounting will
result in premature driver failure and void the product warranty.

2. Mount
to bracket (Fig.
1).
3. Slide the 2 U-Nuts onto the support braces (under the body).
Place the bracket (with speaker attached) on top of the U-Nuts. The front "ears" of the
bracket rest on the two U-Nuts which clip onto the support braces. The rear of the bracket

will mount behind the hood latch assembly using the hood latch mounting hardware (Fig.
2).
4. Be sure all the hood latch cables are properly located, then secure the hood latch assembly

(Over the siren bracket) using the hood latch assembly bolts. IMPORTANT: Make sure the

two bolt heads line up with the two indentations on the hood latch assembly made

by the bolts original position, so that the hood latch assembly reinstalls in the same

position and lines up properly with the hood.
5. Reattach the horn wire. Secure the front of the bracket to the vehicle using the supplied

the siren driver. They will replace 3 of
the 4 shortbolts ("A")

6. You may need to trim some plastic off of any protective covers you
removed in step 1 to accommodate the bracket.
7. Extend WHITE (positive) and BLACK (negative) speaker wires to
your siren amplifier and connect as shown in the amplifiers
instructions.
Caution: It is the responsibility of the installation technician to
make sure that the installation and operation of this product will
not interfere with or compromise the operation or efficiency of
any vehicle equipment! Before returning the vehicle to active
service, visually confirm the proper operation of this product, as
well as all vehicle components/equipment.
