    Note: Wake up the watch by Charging Port touching the screen or the top right button before you press and hold the menu button to access the menu. DO NOT expose your LX5 to harmful insect repellant or sunscreen containing chemical such as deet.

    CHARGING YOUR SKYCADDIE LX5 Please fully charge your LX5 before first use. Prior to charging or recharging, make sure the charging con- tacts and surrounding areas on your LX5 are dry and free of any dirt or debris to ensure proper electrical Heart Rate Monitor contact and to prevent corrosion.
  • Page 16 If the LX5 battery is completely drained or turned off and you attach the charging cable – it will show red battery indicator until it starts to receive charge.     IMPORTANT: A GPS signal is required to use the GOLF features on your LX5. To acquire a GPS signal, ensure you are outside and allow the LX5 to have a clear view of the sky. We recommend that you start with a fully charged battery as the GOLF features use more battery.

    • Use only a SkyGolf supplied USB cable with your LX5 • Do not leave your LX5 attached to a charger or a USB port for over 24 hours. Under the recommended conditions, a completely discharged LX5 battery should completely re-charge in about 1-2 hours when on the charging screen.
