recommended w hen the pump base pressure has risen to an unacceptably high level for your
application . Bea rings, rotary sea ls and O -rings should al so
be
replaced
if
the pu mp ex hibits hu mm ing
or grinding no ises from the bearings. Main bearing li fe may
be
shortened
if
your appl ication requires
the pumping of high quantities of water vapor. Use of the beari ng pu rge w il l keep this water from
impacting bearing life.
