The SRX combines the functions of both a speaker and an assistive listening receiver. This enables the SRX to receive audio transmitted by
an FM assistive listening transmitter. The SRX will tune to any channel within the assistive listening band (72–76MHz). The SRX is
primarily used to assist hearing-impaired individuals, those seated in noisy environments or those seated a distance from the primary audio
source. The SRX may also be used to receive audio in rooms separate from where the program originates.
To provide power to the SRX, there are two options: AC and battery.
AC
Plug the supplied power transformer cord into the SRX's back panel barrel
connector [1] (Figure 1, right). Then plug the transformed into an AC wall
adapter.
Battery
Insert six C-size batteries into the SRX's back panel [2].
Battery Charger Plug
This plug is used for recharging ni-card rechargable batteries (Battery
Recharging, next page).
